Biomedical Admissions Test (BMAT)


CICM is one of BMAT worldwide test centers. The test will take place at Thammasat University (Rangsit Campus).
Registration is available at www.cicm.tu.ac.th (Center TH 670).

*Please be aware that applicants must only take BMAT once in an admissions cycle.


About BMAT

BMAT is a subject-specific admissions test taken by applicants to assess their academic potential for demanding biomedical degree courses. 

BMAT is owned and administered by Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing consisting of a 2-hour test in 3 sections:

          Section 1: Thinking Skills - 60 minutes (multiple-choice questions)
          Section 2: Scientific Knowledge and Applications - 30 minutes (multiple-choice questions)
          Section 3: Writing Task - 30 minutes (Essay question)

Before Registration

          1. Ensure you have understood all information about BMAT test format and its regulation. 

          2. Read all information in the Registration Guide.


How to Register

          1. Complete an online application form.

          2. Upload required documents 

                  - A copy of your valid Thai Nation ID card or passport. 

                  - Payment Slip (Line ID:@887sazyh)

After Registration

A confirmation email with your entry number, test location and any updates will be sent to you one week prior the test date.


On the test day

          1. Please present your valid Thai national ID card or passport to verify your identity. You will not be allowed to take the test without the proof of identity above.

          2. We prepare stationery for you.

          3. Arrive at Thammasat Center (TH670) at least 45 minutes before the test starts.

          4. You will receive your confidential login details to view your result via the Metritests System upon the test day.


After the test

          - Results will be released online on 24th November 2023 at https://www.metritests.com/metrica 

          - Results will not be provided in hard copies. If you have applied to a university which does not appear on the list, you will be responsible for sharing your result to the university from the systems.

          - You will need recheck with your chosen institutions for any related information about when they need the results or which session of the results is required, to make sure you share them in time for your application to be considered.

          - Your results will be automatically sent to the universities following your selection via https://www.metritests.com/metrica

          - Please note that for most universities, sharing results does not consider as an application, and your results will not be considered unless you have also made a formal application to the university.


Remark

          - The candidates who want to apply for CICM, we recommend selecting Thammasat University Testing Center or submit your result to CICM.

          - For the benefit of the candidates, please ensure to select all universities according to your preferable faculty.

          - Candidates who take BMAT examination at Thammasat University Testing Center (TH670) can request additional hardcopy of their BMAT test results and it will be charged 2,000 THB/copy.

Warning: The confidential login that you will be received at the end of the examination is unique and cannot be recovered. Candidates MUST NOT LOSE it. Otherwise, you won’t be able to see your result online.
