HEART : Left pulmonary artery
The pulmonary trunk, approximately 5 cm long and
3 cm wide, is the arterial continuation of the right ventricle
and divides into right and left pulmonary arteries. The pulmonary trunk and arteries conduct low-oxygen blood to the
lungs for oxygenation.
