Middle cardiac vein
The middle cardiac vein (posterior interventricular vein) accompanies the posterior interventricular branch (usually
arising from the right coronary artery). A small cardiac vein accompanies the right marginal branch of the right coronary artery. Thus, these two veins drain most of the areas commonly supplied by theright coronary artery.
